The dull court of the Telangana High Court and advocates on Thursday bid a grand farewell to Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, who has since been elevated as a Supreme Court judge. In the program organized at the First court hall of the High Court, all judges of the High Court, registrars, advocates and court staff were present in full strength.
In his farewell speech, Justice Bhuyan said that litigants must be duly respected. More than 95 per cent of litigants come to the court with a sense of anxiety and it is our duty to treat
them with respect and provide them with the solution. It is only because of litigants that the other stakeholders of the judiciary are there, the CJ said.
He further stated that in the world of justice, there was no place for arrogance.
Justice P. Naveen Rao thanked CJ Bhuyan for his gentle ways and balanced but dynamic approach. The Telangana High Court Advocates Association felicitated Justice Bhuyan at Advocate’s Association.
