The Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) will go it alone in the ensuing Municipal elections in the State, party founder and president Prof M Kodandaram said on Monday.
He said the party would focus on the need to change the way municipalities were administered in the State during its campaign. He said recent outbreak of dengue and viral fevers in the State was an example
of how urban bodies were working. “We have decided to highlight this in our campaign, demanding transparency in the functioning of these municipalities and the need to provide a clean and healthy environment in our towns and cities,” he said. He said two committees - one for manifesto and other to monitor municipal elections - had been set up
