The Bar Association members on Monday met Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and apprised him of the situation. Speaking to the media later, Bar Association president Gandra Mohan Rao said the Governor asked them to withdraw their strike.
He said the strike would not be withdrawn until their demands were conceded. He said they submitted a memorandum to the Governor explaining about the injustice meted out to the Telangana judicial officers, lawyers and

employees. They urged the Governor to solve their problems.
He said the Association had made it clear to the Governor that they would resume duties only after getting clear assurance.
On the other hand, tension prevailed at VIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Upperpally, Rajendranagar, when the lawyers staged a protest on the court premises against the suspension of Telangana judges. They obstructed the entry of judges and raised slogans.
