Telangana State Legislative Assembly has been adjourned sine die after it passed the Appropriation Bill by voice vote. Speaker P Srinivas Reddy said the house met for 7 days and held over 54 hrs proceedings in which four bills were passed. The house witnessed 31 speeches and 22 questions got oral replies.

Earlier, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that  the state Government will help over 700 students returned from Ukraine to continue their studies in the state. He said the education expenses will be born by the government. 

Replying to a debate on the Appropriation Bill, he said some poor students, who were unable to study medicine in the state as it will cost over a crore rupees for a



management quota seat, went to Ukraine to pursue the course. He also added that the state government will write a letter to the central government seeking help for the students to continue their medical courses.

Speaking about the fiscal condition of the state, he said it is far better than that of the Centre and alleged that due to policies of the Centre, Telangana had to lose huge amount of funds. Replying to various matters raised by members, the Chief Minister announced that all employees under SERP will be given wages on par with state government employees and field assistants will be taken back to their duties on humanitarian basis. Following protest, the field assistance were removed from duties earlier.
