Telangana MLC polls: Counting to be held today

In Telangana, counting of votes in the Legislative Council Elections held for the 6 local authorities’ constituencies in 5 undivided Districts is being held today. The results are likely to be announced by afternoon.

Polling was held on 10th of this month for the 6 MLC



seats -two in Karimnagar, and one each from erstwhile districts of Adilabad, Khammam, Medak, and Nalgonda. In all, 26 candidates are in the fray for 6 seats. 91-99 percent polling was reported in all places. Total over 5300 voters cast their vote.
