Telangana Panchayat Raj AE and PA held in bribe case

Kankanala Ramesh, who is an Assistant Engineer (AE) of Panchayat Raj department in Warangal district along with his private assistant (PA) S. Guguloth Saraiah, was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) at Hanumakonda in connection with a bribe case on

Monday.

Following instructions from Ramesh, Saraiah allegedly demanded and accepted a bribe Rs.10,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour to process the building permission application of the complainant's wife to obtain approval from Kakatiya Urban Development Plan (KUDA).
