Telangana police on high alert to tackle drug abuse during New Year parties

As Hyderabad gears up to bid adieu to year 2024 and usher in the New Year on Tuesday, revelers are under the close radar of the authorities for possible use of drugs.

parties at recreational hubs of the city. The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau, in association with the Prohibition and Excise Department and local police formed 19 teams to conduct checking at pubs, bars, hotels, farm houses and places where New Year events are scheduled.
