Poll percentage in Telangana State witnessed a marginal increase from 60.57 per cent to 62.69 per cent after taking into consideration votes polled late on Thursday evening. The poll percentage varied between 75 per cent and 44 per cent.
As per the Election Commission of India statement issued on Friday, Khammam Lok Sabha constituency recorded the highest polling percentage of 75.28 per cent, followed by Bhongir with 74.39 per cent, and Nalgonda with 74.11 per cent. The lowest voter turnout was registered in
Hyderabad constituency with a mere 44.75 per cent, closely followed by 46.26 per cent in Secunderabad constituency and 49.4 per cent in Malkajgiri.
Voter turnout in other constituencies includes 71.44 per cent in Adilabad, 65.43 in Peddapalle, 69.45 per cent in Karimnagar, 68.33 in Nizamabad, 69.67 in Zaheerabad, 71.72 in Medak, 53.22 per cent in Chevella, 65.39 per cent in Mahabubnagar, 62.29 in Nagar Kurnool, 63.65 in Warangal and 68.79 per cent in Mahabubabad constituency.
