Telangana has achieved a 10.4 per cent year-on-year growth in Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), compared to a national average of 6.6 y-o-y in 2017-18 and the share of Telangana’s economy on the national GDP has increased mine basis points to 4.37 per cent in 2017-18 from 4.28 per cent in 2016-17, said Industries Minister KT Rama Rao.

Launching the Industries department annual report here on Monday, he said Telangana has been ranked first in ease of



doing business and TS-iPass contributed significantly to the same.

The Minister said TS-iPass was started in June 2015 and has attracted total investment of Rs 1.23 lakh crore of which 47 per cent was contributed on the last financial year, he said.

TSIIC has developed 148 industrial parks with core infrastructure during 2017-18 and allotted 195.25 acre to 460 industries, he said.
