Telangana staff to get cash awards for services

The TRS government has decided to recognise the services of its employees by giving cash awards and increments. Accordingly , the special chief secretary BP Acharya-headed committee finalised the guidelines to identify 132 employees in four categories of government employees.

Four employees from heads of departments (HoDs) and another four from Secretariat will be felicitated by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on August 15. The district level officer who will qualify to receive the special recognition will be given one additional increment and a cita tion. Those selected as first awardee in each



category will be presented `5 lakh, the second will get `3 lakh and the third one will get `2 lakh cash award. Apart from the cash award, those identified as the `best employee of the department' will be granted one additional increment.

“In all, 12 people in four categories will get the cash award and the remaining will get additional increment and a citation,“ said officials of general administration. Those who want their services to be recognized by the government should apply to the respective departments and those working in the secretariat should conenct with the GPM cell.
