Telangana stands first in Ease of Doing Business

It is a quantum leap for the newly-formed Telangana state, which moved from the 13th position to the first position in the Ease of Doing Business (EODB). With its concerted efforts from the last one year, the industries department of the Telangana State fulfilled all the requirements needed for the top rank in the EODB.During its massive exercise, the TS officials at one point of time complained that the sibling AP state is copying its information on EODB



website.

However, now the TS too shared the first rank along with the AP with 98.78% score.The industries department conducted regular meetings with the officials of various departments and see that all implemented reforms in their respective departments. Finally, the two-and-half-year-old Telangana State got the first ranking.  After formation of the State, TS focused on attracting more investments to the state to provide employment to the local youth.
