Rajanna-Sircilla: IT, Industries and Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao on Tuesday asserted that Telangana State had become a role model for the entire country by achieving remarkable growth in all fields.
The Minister was speaking after hoisting the tricolor at the district collectorate. Earlier, he paid rich tributes to Telangana martyrs on the occasion of State Formation Day.
Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao said though it was a young State, Telangana had become a role model for the nation by registering remarkable growth in all fields within a span
of six years. He said the State had achieved tremendous growth in irrigation, electricity, agriculture, besides ensuring welfare of farmers and weaker sections through its various welfare schemes. The Minister expressed confidence that the State would retain the top position in the coming days by working with the same spirit.
Zilla Parishad Chairperson Nyalakonda Aruna, Collector D Krishna Bhaskar, Superintendent of Police Rahul Hegde, Additional Collector Anjaiah and others participated in formation day celebrations.
