Telangana State Waqf Board meeting rescheduled

The Telangana State Wakf Board has adjourned its scheduled meeting on Saturday as Chief Executive Officer, Shahnawaz Qasim IPS was indisposed and could not attend.

Board chairman Mohd Saleem, said it was being held despite the election code of conduct being in place as the board had not



met for two months which was mandatory.

He said that the CEO as convener had to present the agenda of the meeting. It would be unfair to hold the meeting in his absence, Mr Saleem said. He said the board would meet again after the elections.
