Hyderabad: The State government will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shizuoka province of Japan for cooperation and development in sectors such as industry, business exchanges and investment.

The MoU will also look for investment opportunities in the pharma sector, IT and electronics, automobiles, renewable energy, SMEs and other

areas of mutual interest.

This comes following IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao’s visit to Japan earlier this year. The Chief Representative Hiroyuki Ashizawa and Deputy Chief Representative Toshihiko Tekeda, who were in the city on Sunday, met with the Chief Advisor to the State government Dr Rajiv Sharma to finalize the MoU.
