Telangana turmeric farmers take out rally in Metpally town for MSP

Turmeric farmers on Tuesday took out a huge rally in Metpalli town demanding minimum support price for the crop.

In the wake of steep decline in the price of turmeric, Rythu JAC gave ‘Chalo Metpally’

call to register their protest.

As part of the call, farmers from three districts Jagtial, Nizamabad and Nirmal gathered in the town. Later, they took out a rally from Metpalli market yard to the old bus stand.
