With the rains taking a break after sustained pounding of the city, the mercury has been climbing up slowly yet steadily.

Despite the skies remaining cloudy most of the day, the weather has been sultry and discomfiting for the last two days. On Wednesday, the day temperatures rose sharply across the city and in most places, they were



recorded between 33 degree Celsius and 34 degree Celsius.

The rise in day temperatures was sharper in some places in the city with Kapra logging in the city’s highest temperature for Wednesday at 35.2 degree Celsius followed by Chandanagar with 35 degree Celsius, according to the data collated by Telangana Development Planning Society.
