Telangana Advocate General (AG) K Ramakrishna Reddy on Wednesday re signed from his post. The state government is likely to announce name of his successor soon. Reddy submitted his resignation to the governor ESL Narasimhan through chief secretary .
When contacted, Ramakrishna Reddy confirmed his resignation and said that he was thankful to the state government and chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao
for the opportunity given to him.
“ It has been three years now since I took over as the state's first Advocate General. The CM has always been helpful to me in enabling me to discharge my duties. I thank him for that“, Ramakrishna Reddy said. Known for his elderly ways, Ramakrishna Reddy will remain in the history as the first Advocate General of the Telangana state.
