TGSPDC Promotes 2,263 Employees on a Single Day

For the first time in its history, the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited has promoted 2,263 employees on a single day. The promotions were pending for seven-and-a- half years. The promotion orders were given by TGSPDCL CMD Musharraf Ali Faruqui, following a decision taken during a review meeting chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, recently. In the review meeting, the employees had informed the Deputy Chief Minister about the promotions pending since



2017. 

Bhatti directed the CMD to take up the promotions as it should not hamper the morale of the employees. Many employees in the promotion list had retired due to the delay in announcing the promotions. Musharraf Ali also announced that the government had given a green signal for the recruitment to fill 2,263 vacancies that were created due to the promotions. The employees and officials have thanked Bhatti and the CMD Ali for announcing the promotions.
