TGSRTC bus conductor felicitated for returning bag containing cash, ornaments worth Rs. 13 lakh

In a remarkable display of honesty, a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus conductor, Venkateshwarlu returned a bag containing cash, gold and silver worth Rs 13 lakh, which was lost in the bus, to the rightful owner.

him.

While on duty on the Achampet-Hyderabad route on April 26, Conductor Venkateshwarlu noticed a forgotten bag on reaching MGBS, Secunderabad. Inside, he discovered gold and silver ornaments, cash, and various certificates. He promptly informed Achampet Depot Manager Murali Durga Prasad, who advised him to hand over the bag to the station manager’s office at MGBS.
