The Rachakonda cybercrime police arrested two persons on charges of cheating people in the name of online trading on Wednesday.

The arrested persons were B. Ravi (36), from Attapur and V.Raghu (35) from Mulugu.

Police said Ravi was cheating people through various Multi-Level Marketing schemes with help of his accomplices Veer Singh, Sandeep Singh and Raghu. They floated



fraudulent firms at Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Goa and opened bank accounts. Ravi gave publicity on social media offering huge returns in a short span for online trading. After collecting money, they shut down the firms and floated firms in a different place.

Recently, a youngster from Malkajgiri was duped of Rs.8.2 lakh. Based on his complaint, the cybercrime police booked a case and nabbed the suspects.
