Thousands gather for 'fish prasadam' at Exhibition Grounds

Thousands of people suffering from asthma and other respiratory ailments thronged the Exhibition Grounds at Nampally on Thursday to take the popular ‘fish prasadam’.

The prasadam administration that started around 8:30 am is expected to continue till 9 am on Friday. People from north eastern States, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and



several other places across the country have come to the Exhibition Grounds to take the free prasadam offered by the Bathini family.

Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav was among those who took the prasadam in the early hours. The government has made elaborate arrangements for the annual programme.
