The stage is all set for the 20th edition of the three-day BioAsia, the continent’s largest life-sciences and healthcare forum, which is being hosted by the state government at HICC here on Friday.
Industries minister K.T. Rama Rao will inaugurate BioAsia 2023 convention and will pitch for Hyderabad as the 'global pharma and life sciences hub'. Rao will aggressively promote Hyderabad pharma city, coming up on 14,000 acres in the city outskirts as the world's largest integrated pharma cluster.
He is expected to invite global pharma and life sciences players to set up operations here given that it had all environmental clearances for the entire cluster, which quicken the processes. This will save about 18 months for the companies to launch their operations.
