Three persons killed in accident on Outer Ring Road

Three persons were killed when their car crashed into a truck on the Outer Ring Road at Pedda Amberpet in Abdullapurmet in the city here on Tuesday morning.

According to the police, a DCM vehicle from Amaravathi was going towards Medak district and on reaching the ORR, the driver allegedly shifted lanes abruptly, with the driver of the car that was just behind, losing control and



crashing into the truck. Three passengers of the car died on the spot while two others were injured.

Other motorists passing by alerted the Abdullapurmet police, who retrieved the bodies from the car and shifted the injured to hospital.

The police have booked a case of negligence causing death and injuries and have taken up investigation.
