Thunderstorm likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana

Rains with thunderstorms on Thursday evening has witnessed water logging in the areas like Hayathnagar, Saroornagar, Qutbullapur, Balanagar, Shaikpet, Malkajgiri, Safilguda, ECIL, Sainikpuri, Moulali, Kushaiguda, Secunderabad, Alwal, Chanda Nagar, Miyapur, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Banjara hills, Jubilee hills, Punjagutta, Ameerpet, SR nagar, Khairtabad, Malakpet etc.

Apart, low lying areas affected with the rains and also traffic jams witnessed resulting in motorists to move at snail pace.



The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad made a forecast that light to moderate Rain or thunder showers very likely to occur at isolated Places over Telangana for the next three days. 

Due to the formation of an upper air cyclonic circulation over Northwest Bay of Bengal and north coast of Orissa persists and extends up to 0.9 km above mean sea level, eventuating light to moderate rainfall from Thursday night to next three days.
