Thunderstorm warning for Telangana on Jan 26,27

The regional weather department issued a warning stating that thunderstorm accompanied by hailstorm is likely to prevail at isolated places in all the districts of Telangana state on January 26 and 27.

The hailstorm condition is due to cyclonic circulation, according to weather experts. 

Mr Mahesh Palawat from Skymet weather said, “There is a cyclonic circulation over South East Uttar Pradesh and



adjoining North Chattisgarh, and the trough is extending upto Karnataka and Telangana. The states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh are experiencing rains.”

It is also expected that there would be rain or thunderstorm on Friday as well, however, it is limited only to the Northern parts of Telangana and the next day on Saturday, the impact would extend to the rest of the Telangana.
