The Hyderabad police has put in place certain restrictions in connection with the Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) prayers at Mir Alam tank idgah in Bahadurpura on June 29 from 8 am to 11.30 am.

Police commissioner C.V. Anand in a statement asked motorists take alternative routes. He said the traffic police would provide updates on facebook.com/HYDTP and @HYDP on Twitter. In case if an emergency, motorists could call the traffic helpline 9010203626, he said.

General traffic will not be allowed towards the idgah and will be diverted at Bahadurpura crossroads towards Kishanbagh, Kamatipura and Puranapul.

Vehicles carrying namazis from Puranapul, Kamatipura, Kishanbagh towards the idgah should be parked at zoo, space opposite Masjid



Allah-ho-Akbar

Devotees from  Shivarampally and Danamma Huts can park beside Modern Saw Mill and front of idgah main road, Mir Alam filter bed, open space beside Mir Alam filter bed. General vehicular traffic will not be allowed towards idgah on this route.

Namazis from Kalapather would be allowed through Kalapather police station, after parking vehicles at Bhayya Parking, Indian Oil Petrol bunk. General vehicular traffic will not be allowed on the route and will be diverted towards Mochi Colony, Bahadurpura, Shamsheergunj.

Heavy vehicles including RTC buses coming from Puranapul towards Bahadurpura will be diverted at Puranapul Darwaza towards Jiaguda and City College.
