Traffic curbs in old city for Arbayeen

The traffic police and city police commissioner Anjani Kumar issued a traffic advisory on Monday in view of commemoration of Arbayeen by Shia Muslims from Alijah Kotla to Azakhana and Balshetty Khaith to Bibi Ka Alawa on Tuesday.

Traffic will either be stopped or diverted at the following places or routes from 12pm to 7pm to make way for about 20,000 devotees who will participate in the procession.

The vehicular traffic coming from Chaderghat to S J Rotary will not be allowed towards Mirchowk main road and will



be diverted towards Nayapool at S J Rotary. Traffic coming from Talabkatta and Bhavani Nagar will not be allowed towards Etebar Chowk, Bibi Bazar and Alijah Kotla and will be diverted towards Hafeez-Danka Mosque and the traffic coming from Chatta Bazar towards A.P.A.T (Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal) will be diverted towards Madina.

The commuters have been requested to co-operate with the traffic police and take the alternate routes to ease congestion and maintain smooth flow of traffic.
