Traffic curbs on Tank Bund from Sept 2

The Hyderabad traffic police have notified traffic restrictions on Tank Bund and NTR Marg from September 2 to 11 in connection with Ganesh immersion processions. The orders will be in force from 3 pm every day and continue till late in the night.

The general traffic coming from Karbala Maidan will not be allowed towards the upper Tank Bund and diverted towards Kavadiguda Crossroads. Those intending to go towards Liberty will have to travel via Kavadiguda Crossroads, Gandhi Nagar T Junction, DBR Mills, Indira Park and Domalguda. Motorists heading for Khairatabad and Punjagutta may take the route via Ranigunj, Nallagutta, Sanjeevaiah Park, Necklace Road and Khairatabad flyover. At Necklace



rotary, the general traffic from Khairatabad flyover will not be allowed towards the NTR Marg and diverted towards Necklace Road or Mint Compound Road.

Similarly, at Telugu Thalli Statue junction, traffic will not be allowed towards NTR Marg and will be diverted towards Iqbal Minar at Telugu Thalli Junction and the traffic towards Secunderabad will take Telugu Thalli flyover and be diverted to Katta Maisamma Temple road, DBR Mills and then proceed via Children Park, Sailing Club, Karbala Maidan.

At DBR Mills junction, traffic from Goushala and proceeding towards upper Tank Bund will be diverted at DBR Mills towards Lower Tank Bund.
