Traffic diverted at Maithrivanam

Traffic will be diverted at Maithrivanam in view of the ongoing metro rail construction work from Thursday for a period of 45 days.

Hyderabad police said that vehicular traffic coming from Erragadda towards Ameerpet and Secunderabad will be diverted at Umesh Chandra Statue at SR Nagar towards SR Nagar law and order PS, SR Nagar T Junction, Satyam Theatre and Durgamata Temple.From this point at the temple, traffic bound for Begumpet and Secunderbad will take left turn and vehicles moving towards Panjagutta and Maitrivanam will take right turn.

The entire stretch from Umesh Chandra Statue to Ameerpet Junction via SR Nagar T Junction, Satyam Theatre, Durga Maatha Temple will be oneway traffic.

Traffic from Fatehnagar towards Ameerpet, and from Begumpet to SR Nagar and Yousufguda, will not be allowed towards



Satyam Theatre and will be diverted at R&B Office, Balkampet Road via DK Road, GHMC playground, and Durga Matha Temple, Ameerpet towards Ameerpet Junction to join the traffic towards Maitrivanam Junction.

Light motor vehicles, autos and two-wheelers coming from Erragadda to Madhura Nagar and Kalyan Nagar can take right turn at Umesh Chandra Statue and heavy vehicles will have to take the route via SR Nagar T Junction, Durga Matha Temple and Ameerpet Junction.

The stretch between GHMC playground, Ameerpet to Sonabai Temple, being narrow, has been made oneway and no vehicle will be allowed towards Sonabai Temple. All the bylanes joining the road from Umesh Chandra Statue to SR Nagar T Junction will be closed except at SR Nagar Community Hall Junction to facilitate free movement of vehicles.
