Traffic restrictions for Bonalu celerations on July 16, 17

The City Police Commissioner on Friday announced traffic regulations for July 17 in Charminar, Mirchowk, Falaknuma and Bahadurpura areas from 12 noon to 10 pm.

In a press note issued here, CP Mahendar Reddy stated that vehicular traffic coming from Kandikalgate will not be allowed towards Lal Darwaza and will be diverted at Chatrinaka PS “T” junction towards Gowlipura. Similarly, traffic coming from Phoolbagh towards Lal Darwaza will be diverted at Pather-ki-Dargah towards the old office of ACP at Chatrinaka. 

Traffic coming from Balagunj will not be allowed towards Lal Darwaza and will be diverted at Balagunj towards Gowlipura Crossroad. Traffic from Gowlipura Market towards Sudha Talkies will be diverted at the Library towards the Ashoka Pillar Crossroads. Traffic coming from Meer-ka-Daira and Moghalpura will not be allowed towards Shalibanda and will be diverted at Hari-Bowli Crossroads.

Traffic coming from Uppuguda and Chatrinaka side will be diverted towards Moghalpura PS at Gowlipura Crossoads. Vehicles coming from Chandrayangutta towards Aliyabad will be diverted at new Shamsheergunj “T” junction towards -Tadban via Almas Hotel ( Jahanuma ). Traffic coming from Bhavani Nagar and Mirjumla Talab will be diverted at Bibi Bazar Crossroads towards Alijah Kotla (Miralam Mandi Road). 

Vehicles coming from Moghalpura will be diverted towards Alijah Kotla via Chowk Maidan Khan at Fire Station, Moghalpura.Motorists coming from Yakutpura towards Gulzar House will be diverted towards Mir Alam Mandi Road at Eitebar Chowk Mosque. Traffic coming from Purani Haveli and Mandi Road towards Chatta Bazar will be diverted at Lakkad Kote Crossroads towards Dar-ul-Shifa.

Traffic coming from Fateh Darwaza will not be allowed towards Himmatpura X Roads and will be diverted at Volga Hotel towards Khilwat or Moti Galli.Traffic coming from Puranapul towards Laad Bazar will be diverted at Motigalli towards Shahgunj or Chelapura. Traffic coming from Khilwat towards Laad Bazar will be diverted at Motigalli “T” junction towards Chowk Mosque. Traffic coming from Shakkar Kote will be diverted at Mitti ka Sher towards Ghansi Bazar and Chelapura. Traffic coming from Puranapul and Mehboob ki Mehandi towards



Nayapool will be diverted at Muslimjung Bridge towards Begum Bazar. 

Traffic coming from Chaderghat, Noor Khan Bazar and Darul Shifa will not be allowed towards Nayapool and will be diverted at Dar-ul- Shifa, towards Gowliguda and Afzalgunj via Salarjung Bridge. Traffic coming from Gowliguda and Siddiamber Bazar towards Nayapool will be diverted at Afzalgunj X -Roads towards Muslimjung bridge via Osmania General Hospital Road along the Musi river. The road between Madina Crossroads and Engine Bowli, Jahanuma, will be closed for all vehicles.

To regulate traffic in connection with Bonalu celebrations on Sunday and Monday at Mahankali Temple, Amberpet, police will impose traffic restrictions in the city.Police said that district buses coming from Warangal and Andhra Pradesh buses coming from Uppal towards Amberpet will be diverted via: Tarnaka ­ Adikmet ­ Vidya Nagar ­ Fever Hospital ­ A.Y.Mandali ­ Tourist Hotel Jn ­ Nimboliadda ­ Chaderghat and C.B.S. The return route will be vice-versa.

Buses coming from Uppal to Ramanthapur will be diverted at Gandhi Statue towards C.P .L Amberpet ­ Saldhana Gate ­ Amberpet T Jn ­Road No 6, Amberpet. On Monday from 1pm to late night, buses coming from Uppal will be terminated at Ramanthapur and buses coming from Dilsukhnagar towards Secunderabad will be diverted at Ali Café towards Zinda Tilismath ­ Road No.6 ­ Tilak Nagar.

The traffic coming from Uppal towards Amberpet will be diverted at Royal Juice Corner ­ DD Colony ­ Syndicate Bank.Similarly for celebrations at Kattamaisamma temple, Lower Tank bund, traffic will be diverted at the following places on 7am to 10pm on Sunday and on Monday from 4pm to 10pm.

Traffic will not be allowed on the Telugu Talli Flyover from Iqbal Minar towards Katta Maisamma temple. Traffic will not be allowed towards Katta Maisamma Temple from DBR Mills, Kavadiguda, and will be diverted at the Tahasildhar Office towards Indira Park via Vaartha Lane. Traffic will not be allowed towards Katta Maisamma Temple from the RTC X Roads and will be diverted at Reliance Apartment (Ramya Hotel) via: Street No.5, Domalguda, Himayathnagar, while traffic will be diverted at Indira Park x road towards DBR Mills.
