Traffic restrictions for Ram Navami Shobha Yatra on March 25

GHMC commissioner B Janardhan Reddy appealed to the citizens, peace committee members, temple committee members and mythri members to cooperate with the civic body and police in wake of Ram Navami Shobha Yatra to be held in the Old City on March 25.

Police commissioner Anjani Kumar and senior GHMC officials inspected Sitaram Bagh area on Thursday. “As per the request by organising committee members, all necessary arrangements have been done for the procession,” Reddy said.

GHMC has taken up precautionary measures for smooth conduct of the procession, which will cover a distance of seven kilometres from Sitarambagh, Begumbazar, Siddambar Bazar, Putli Bowli, Sultan Bazar and Hanuman Vyaymshala School at Kandaswamy lane.

Anjani Kumar said all arrangements are being made in coordination with the organising committees.

Hyderabad traffic have imposed traffic curbs on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra which will start on March 25 at 10am from Mahakaleshwari Mandir ( Rani Avanti Bai Function Hall ), Upper Dhoolpet to Ram Mandir Gowliguda.

Diversion Points of West/ Central Zone:Traffic from Asifnagar will not be allowed towards Bhoi Guda Kaman and will be diverted at Mallepally X Road towards Vijayanagar Colony or Mehdipatnam. From Bhoiguda Kaman traffic will not be allowed towards Seetharam Bagh and will be diverted towards Aghapura / Habeebnagar. From Aghapura / Habeebnagar traffic will be diverted towards Darussalam. Traffic from Bhoiguda Kaman will not be allowed towards Puranapool and will be diverted to Darussalam.

Traffic from Puranapool will not be allowed towards Puranapool Gandhi Statue and will be diverted towards Puranapool Bridge either towards Petlaburj or Karwan/Kulsumpura. From M. J. Bridge traffic will not be allowed towards Jummerath Bazaar, will be diverted towards City College/ Afzalgunj.

Traffic from Malakunta will not be allowed towards M. J. Bridge, and will be diverted at Alaska towards Darusalam.Traffic from Afzalgunj X roads towards S.A. Bazar will not be allowed and will be diverted towards Salarjung Bridge at National Lodge. From Rang Mahal and Koti traffic will be not allowed towards Gowliguda Chaman, will be diverted towards Jambagh / M. J. Market.

Traffic from Afzal

Gunj will not be allowed towards M.J. Bridge and will be diverted towards Madina/High Court/City College.

Diversion points of east zone when the procession reaches the areas:Afzalgunj ‘T’ Junction: On reaching Bartan Bazaar towards S.A. Bazaar Mosque, traffic from Afzalgunj will be diverted towards Central Library & S.J. Bridge.

Rang Mahal Y Junction: From Rammandir Kaman, Gowliguda traffic coming from Rang Mahal will be diverted towards CBS. Puthlibowli X roads: From Gowliguda Chaman traffic from Rangmahal and Andhra Bank will not be allowed towards

Gowliguda Chaman and diverted towards Jambagh. Andhra Bank X Roads: From Rammandir Kaman, Gowliguda, traffic coming from Bank street will not be allowed towards Putlibowli and diverted towards DMHS, till the procession reach Andhra Bank X road.

Traffic coming from the Bank Street will diverted towards Putlibowli and not allowed towards DMHS. DM & HS X Roads: From Rammandir, Gowliguda proceed towards Puthlibowli, traffic from DM & HS will be diverted towards Chaderghat. When the procession reaches Andhra bank X roads traffic from DMHS towards Bata will be diverted towards Andhra bank. Sultan Bazar X Roads: On reaching DMHS, traffic from Badichowdi will not be allowed towards Panchami Hotel.

Chaderghat X Roads: When the procession reach Puthlibowli proceed towards Andhra Bank X Roads, traffic from Chaderghat bridge and Sai Baba Temple will be diverted towards Nimboliadda (Tr. P.S. Kachiguda).

Kachiguda X road: From Sultan Bazar X roads proceed towards Hanuman Tekdi lane, traffic from Narayanguda and Kachiguda Station road will be diverted towards Kachiguda Station road. (Tr. P.S. Kachiguda)

G.P.O., Abids: From Rammandir Kaman, Gowliguda, traffic from Chermas should take M.J. Market and Nampally station road and traffic coming from Yousufian company will be diverted towards Nampally station road. Traffic will not be allowed towards Bank Street from G.P.O. Abids.

Yosufin and Company: Traffic from Yousufin and Company will be diverted towards GPO, Abids. Boggulakunta X Roads: Traffic coming from Tilak road and King Koti will be diverted towards Ram koti.
