Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad city today

Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy on Monday issued traffic restrictions and diversion orders in connection with the tour of President Pranab Mukherjee in city on Tuesday.

The commissioner informed that the vehicular traffic at Rashtrapathi Nilayam would be stopped and diverted in the routes from Rashtrapathi Nilayam, Lothkunta Y Junction, MCEME Signal, Lal Bazaar T Junction , MG Community Hall, Trimulgherry Crossroads, RTA Office, Hanuman Temple, Karkhana , Vikrampuri, Secunderabad Club in-gate, NCC Directorate X Roads, Tivoli X Roads, Plaza X Roads, CTO Flyover, Rasoolpura Junction, PNT flyover, Shyamlal Building, Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet Flyover, Greenlands Junction, Rajiv Gandhi Statue and Raj Bhavan from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm on Tuesday.

The traffic would either be stopped or diverted in return direction after the President finishes dinner at Raj Bhavan.The vehicular traffic from AOC towards Airtel would be diverted at Laxmi Nagar towards JBS and the traffic from Balaji Nagar, Ammuguda and Nagadevata



temple to Lal Bazaar would be diverted at Ambedkar Statue, Lal Bazar towards KV Junction, R K Puram and AOC Centre.

Traffic coming from Sangeet Junction and Tarnaka towards Bowenpally via Sweekar Upkar and Tivoli would be diverted at Sangeet Junction towards Garden, Patny, Paradise, CTO Junction, Rajiv Gandhi Statue, Balamrai and Tadbund X Roads.

Traffic from Shadan College, Khairatabad Flyover to Rajbhavan would be diverted at V V Statue towards KCP and traffic from North Zone intending to Begumpet would be diverted at SBH Junction towards R P Road.

The commissioner informed that the YMCA Flyover would be closed for general traffic during the President’s tour and traffic would be diverted at YMCA Junction towards Clock Tower and R P Road. 

Traffic from Budda Bhavan, Raniganj to Minister’s Road would be diverted at Nallagutta backside towards Necklace Road and Sanjeevaiah Park and the traffic from Upper Tank Bund and Bible House towards Paradise would be diverted at Karbala Maidaan towards the Bible House.
