Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad from Aug 21

To maintain smooth flow of traffic in connection with the sale and transportation of Ganesh Idols in Dhoolpet area, the following restrictions will be imposed from 2 pm on August 21 to 2 pm on August 26. Accordingly, no vehicle will be allowed from Bhoiguda Kaman X Roads towards Gandhi statue, Puranapool via Mangalhat police station. Traffic from Darusalam towards Puranapul should go via Panmandi, Ghode ki khabar, Jhinsi chowrai, Jumerat Bazar and Puranapul while traffic from Asifnagar towards Puranapool will have to take right turn at Aghapura X Road and proceed towards Ghode Ki Khabar, Jinsi Chowrahi, Gulzar Baitak, Jummerath Bazar and



Puranapul.

Lorries, DCMs which ply for the purchase of Ganesh idols are allowed to park at Jummerath Bazar ground and they will be allowed only after midnight to take the idols. Auto trolleys, DCMs, trucks and other vehicles coming to load idols will have to enter from Gandhi Statue at Puranapool, Jali Hanuman, Mangalhat, Shanker Café and exit through Bhoiguda Kaman. Two-wheelers and cars from Puranapool side coming for purchasing idols will have to be parked at Jiyaguda side road leading to Musi river. Vehicles coming from Seetharam Bagh and Darusalam side can also park in the lanes of Aghapura.
