Hyderabad police have imposed several traffic restrictions and diversions in view of Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu’s visit to the city between October 2 and 8.
Restrictions have been imposed between Road No 12, Banjara Hills, and Vishweshwaraiah Bhavan, Khairatabad on Wednesday between 8:45am and 9:35am on the stretch from Road No 12-Care Hospital Road-Taj Krishna Hotel junction-VV Statue Junction and Vishweshwaraiah Bhavan.
Similarly, restrictions have been imposed between Vishweshwaraiah Bhavan and Road No 12, Banjara Hills, between 10:15am and 11:05am on Wednesday and will apply on the Vishweshwaraiah Bhavan-KCP Junction-Taj Krishna Junction-Care Hospital Road-Vengal Rao Bus Stop-ACB Office-Hyundai Showroom-Residence route.
Between 4:15pm and 5:05pm on Wednesday, traffic will be restricted on the route from Road No 12, Banjara Hills,
to Shilpakala Vedika that passes via Cancer Hospital-Jubilee Hills Check Post Junction-Peddamma Temple Junction-Croma Building and Neeru’s Junction.
On the other hand, restrictions will be in place between 5:45pm and 6:35pm on the route from Shilpakala Vedika to Road No 12, Banjara Hills, passing through Cyberabad Limits-Madhapur Arch (Neeru’s junction)-Peddamma temple Junction-Jubilee Check Post Junction-Cancer Hospital- Orissa Island to the VP’s residence.
Restrictions have also been imposed between Road No 12, Banjara Hills, and Open Theatre, University College of Women, Koti, on Thursday wherein traffic will be restricted from 9:20am to 10:05am on the route from Road No 12, Banjara Hills, Mahaveer Hospital, Old PS Saifabad, Ravindra Bharti, BJR Statue, Troop Bazar Junction, H S Junction to the college main gate.
