Traffic restrictions on Sunday for CM's Iftar party at L B Stadium

The city police have imposed the following restrictions to maintain smooth flow of traffic and ensure public safety and order in connection with the Iftar hosted by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday from 5 pm. to 9 pm. at L.B. Stadium here.

Traffic diversions and restrictions will be made, if required as per the situation, officials said. At AR Petrol Pump Junction, traffic will not be allowed towards BJR Statue and will be diverted towards Nampally (through KLK Building) or Ravindra Bharati. Traffic coming from Abids and Gunfoundry side will not be allowed towards BJR Statue and Basheerbagh Junction, and it will be diverted at SBI Gunfoundry towards Chapel



Road.

Vehicles coming from Basheerbagh Junction and going towards GPO, Abids will be diverted at Basheerbagh Junction towards Hyderguda and King Koti Road. Traffic coming from Old MLA quarters towards Basheerbagh will be diverted at old MLA Quarters towards Himayatnagar Y Junction.

Motorists coming from King Koti to Basheerbagh via: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will be diverted at King Koti X Roads towards Taj Mahal Hotel and Eden Garden. Traffic coming from Liberty towards Basheerbagh Junction will be diverted at Liberty Junction towards Himayatnagar. The police requested motorists to take alternative routes to their destinations and avoid the above routes during the specified timings.
