Tribal MLA of Congress faces insult as officials violate protocol in Kothagudem

An adivasi MLA, Jare Adinarayana, was insulted by officials who organised a programme to launch development works without informing him in his Aswaraopet constituency in the district.

The Congress MLA, who was angry at officials, boycotted the programme. According to sources, the MLA along with Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao was scheduled to launch



development works in Dammapet mandal in the constituency on Tuesday.

A statement to this effect was also issued from the MLA camp office on Monday night. However, R&B officials organised an unscheduled programme of laying the foundation stone for 10 km road construction works in the mandal. The officials were said to have violated the protocol by failing to inform Adinarayana.
