TRS accepts defeat in Huzurabad bypoll

The ruling TRS accepted the people’s verdict in the bypoll to Huzurabad Assembly constituency with humility and vowed to work harder for the people of Telangana including voters of Huzurabad constituency. The party leadership also thanked the party leaders and workers who worked tirelessly for the party candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav during the bye-election.

In a tweet, TRS working president and Minister KT Rama Rao said in the last 20 years, TRS has seen many highs and lows. Stating that the Huzurabad bypoll result will not be of much significance or



consequence, he complimented TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav for putting up a spirited fight.

He also thanked and applauded the tireless efforts of Ministers T Harish Rao, Koppula Eeshwar and Gangula Kamalakar as well as MLAs, TRS party leaders and cadre who toiled hard in Huzurabad electioneering. He thanked the social meda warriors who have been relentless in campaign. 

“I appeal to all TRS workers to work with increased resolve to forge ahead in future battles,” he said.
