TRS Formation Day to be low key affair

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leadership has decided to organise 18th Formation Day of the party on April 27 on a subdued note. Telangana Rashtra Samithi working president K T Rama Rao has made an appeal to the party functionaries and workers to make it a simple affair without any fanfare since the model code of conduct is still in effect in view of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

said party flag will be hoisted at all levels right from village units to State headquarters on the occasion. He wanted the party leaders, MLAs, MLCs and MPs to take part in the flag hoisting programme.

The Telangana Rashtra Samiti was founded by its chief K Chandrashekhar Rao on April 27, 2001 with the sole agenda of creating a separate Telangana State.
