TRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has come up with a plan to construct another party office – ‘Telangana Bhavan’ - in New Delhi next year. Based on the party strength, the Union government has agreed to allot land for the construction of the party office in the national capital recently.
As per the rules, a political organization which had a total strength of 10 to 15 MPs in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabah would be
allotted land measuring 500 square yards. At present, the TRS strength in Parliament is 14 MPs (11 Lok Sabha and 3 Rajya Sabha). The Centre had already informed the party about the allotment of 500 square yards.
Top TRS leader and close aide of the Chief Minister said the Union government also informed the party that it would get 1000 square yards of land if the total strength in Parliament crosses 15.
