TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday released the party manifesto for the ensuing GHMC election. The party promises includes free water to the households which consumed not more than 20,000 litres a month and free power supply to salons, dhobi ghats and laundries across the state.
For the cinema industry, the CM has also promised to reimburse the state GST for small budget films (upto Rs 10 crore) allowing the theatres to increase the number of shows per day. The party also vowed to waive motor vehicle tax of Rs 267 crore payable by the 3, 37,611 vehicle owners who suffered during the lockdown from March to September.
Releasing the manifesto, the Chief
Minister said that the government has chalked out a plan of Rs 12,000 crore to prevent the city from floods and also promised to turn Hyderabad as zero-carbon city by controlling environmental pollution.
He promised to construct regional ring road (RRR), footpaths, skywalks, cycle tracks to ease traffic and also build three more TIMS in and around Hyderabad and also make diagnostic facility available at Basti Dawakanas.
The Chief Minister also asserted to extend the metro services to Hyderabad international airport from Rayadurgam and from BHEL to Mehdipatnam in the phase-II of metro rail project.
