TRS working president KT Rama Rao predicted a hung Parliament after observing the initial three phases of Lok Sabha elections. He was confident that winning 16 MPs in the State, TRS will play a crucial role at the Centre and get a better deal for Telangana State. He stated that primary focus area of the Federal Front government at the Centre will be devolution of funds and decentralisation of powers to strengthen the States as well as nation.
During a 90-minute #AskKTR session on Sunday, Rama Rao answered a volley of questions from Twitteratti and shared his thoughts on national politics and entertainment, and also spoke about the future plans for the development of the State, among
others.
In his interaction with Twitter users, the TRS working president stated that the previous NDA government did major injustice to the State on the high speed rail connectivity network front. When emphasised the need for quadrilaterals, bullet trains and other high-speed connectivity from Hyderabad to rest of the country, he hoped that it will be corrected by the next government at the Centre.
On increasing concern among people over unemployment and financial insecurity, he believed that good economics should take centrestage over politics in political parties’ manifestoes. “Good economic policies will lead to more employment and wealth creation for our nation,” he added.
