The Hyderabad-based Trujet on Monday announced flight services on three routes — Hyderabad-Kadapa, Hyderabad-Nanded and Nanded-Mumbai — which will be functioning from April 27, 2017 under the UDAN regional connectivity scheme of the ministry of civil aviation.
It is owned by Turbo Megha Airways Private Limited. The managing director Vankayalapati Umesh said that the Trujet would be the only
airline to operate flights on these three sectors.
“The airline currently operates a set of ATR-72 aircraft and has acquired a fourth aircraft of the same type. The latest aircraft will be operated on the new sectors,” he said. On other routes, Air India and SpiceJet, which have small aircraft ideal for regional flights, would operate flights under the UDAN scheme.
