The Telangana BJP has said that come June 22, its leaders and workers will fan out in the state and launch an ‘Intintiki BJP’ (door-to-door) public outreach campaign with a target to visit a whopping 35 lakh families on a single day.
This programme will continue till June 30, the last day of the party’s Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan, during which the party has been informing people about the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his nine-year governance.
This effort of the state BJP leaders and cadre will be supplemented by 900 party workers, who will be joining them from other states on June 27, and will be visiting the BJP’s ‘Shakti kendras’ – the party’s booth committee clusters – according to state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Incidentally, June 22 will be the last day of the Telangana government’s ‘Dashabdi Utsavalu’,
celebrating 10 years of the state with the government having scheduled ‘Telangana Martyrs Memorial Day.’
Meanwhile, the BJP has organized its own 21-day schedule to counter the daily theme-based celebrations of the state government’s achievements.
The goal is to ensure that workers from every polling booth committee will visit at least 100 homes. With 35,000 booth committees in place, the party hopes to meet the target of reaching out to 35 lakh families in a single day, distributing pamphlets highlighting Modi government’s successes, achievements and contributions to Telangana. Also on the anvil is pasting party stickers on each home.
Everyone in the state BJP, including Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, Sanjay, and all other leaders will take part in the door-to-door campaign, the party said on Tuesday.
