Telangana Cabinet is to meet on June 3 at about 2 pm, a day
after state formation day celebrations. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will
chair the Cabinet to discuss on various issues pertaining to river disputes
with Andhra Pradesh, irrigation projects, welfare schemes and others. It is
said that KCR who has already taken a serious view of recently held Krishna
River water board meeting and is to shot
off a missive to Union Water Resources ministry against Andhra Pradesh for
creating hurdles in this regard. The Cabinet is to discuss on the flagship
programs such as Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha and double bed room
houses and take decisions on key issues. Even as elaborate arrangements made for
the state formation day across all districts the Cabinet is to take a call on
crucial inter-state issues of river water usage, objections raised by Andhra
Pradesh leaders on Palamur and other projects. Besides bifurcation of high
court and officials among two states are to be figured in the cabinet
prominently.
