The district unit of government employees (TPTU) has condemned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his comments against the government staff in the State Assembly. They reminded him that he profusely praised their role in the separate statehood agitation. TPTU state general secretary Chandrasekhar and district general secretary Vidyasagar Rao at a meeting in Muthangi Isnapur school
complex hit out at KCR for claiming that the government was friendly towards its staff, but yet thought it fit to criticise the employees.
The leaders asserted that the employees had a right to agitate to get their demands conceded, while demanding that the government honour the promises made by KCR to the staff.
