TS launches promotional campaign for admissions in residential schools

Irrigation Minister, T Harish Rao has launched a campaign on Minority government residential schools in Siddipet district on Thursday by flagging off the promotional vehicle.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister has called upon the minorities to apply online for admissions in new residential schools for 2017-18 academic year.Stating that Chief Minister, K.Chandrasekhar Rao wanted to provide best education to minorities, he added that the State government believe that, only proper education will reduce the poverty



levels among minorities.

Announcing that the State government is going to start three more new residential schools exclusively for minorities in the coming academic year in addition to existing three, Harish Rao has said that the admissions will be opened into Vth, VIth, VIIth classes up to March 15.

To sensitise the people over the quality of the education which will be provided at the residential schools, the Minister said that they have decided to promote their schools across the district.
