Minister for Home and Labour, Nayini Narasimha Reddy, on Monday entered into an MoU with seven companies based in Bahrain. They include Ghani group, Arab Asian business centre, Keval Ram Sans, Omega paints, VKL holdings, Namal group and Quality education group.
Reddy, who is on a tour of Bahrain, interacted with the representatives of some companies and explained the importance of Telangana Overseas Manpower Company (TOMCOM). The latter provided qualitative and reliable manpower according
to the requirement of companies and also protected employees from being cheated by middle men, he said.
Representatives of some companies said they required nurses and skilled persons. Later, the Minister entered into an MoU with a few companies. Initiative for the programme was taken by Kurian Verghese, a Bahrain based businessman. Principal Secretary, Rajath Kumar , TOMCOM managing director,Yakub Nayak, Bhavani of GHMC Standing Committee and others participated in the meeting.
