TS Sports Minister Srinivas Goud flags off Hyderabad 10K Run

T Anish and Caren Jebet raced to glory in the 17th edition of the Hyderabad 10K Run, winning the men and women category events respectively at People’s Plaza on Sunday.

A total of over 15,000 runners finished the run which aims at promoting running as the primary form of fitness.

The event was flagged off by Sports Minister Srinivas Goud. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT), actors Avika Gor and Sanjjanaa Galrani also participated in the



event.

Men: Elite 10K Run: 1. T Anish 29:47s, 2. Tirtha P 3. Nicodemus; Open 10K run (Up to 49 years): 1. Bhagesh Patel - 31:27s, 2. Gangappa Tambur, 3. K Tushar; Veterans (50 to 64) 10k: A Baba 38:29s, 2. Nanjundan, 3. Mallikarjun.

Women: Elite 10K Run: 1. Caren Jebet 33:55s, 2. Hannah Wanjiru, 3.Etsegent Belete; Open 10K Run (Up to 49 years): 1. Aasa TP 38:18s, 2. Navya Vadde, 3. Priyanka; Veterans (50 to 64): Dinaz V: 1:07:52s, 2.Usha Kiran V, 3. Lakshmi Sri V.
