Telangana State Mineral Development Corporation (TSMDC) will go paperless from December 1.
The corporation has decided to implement ‘e-office’ system which is developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC). This system will discourage the usage of paper for file management in the corporation.
The corporation is the first in the entire state to switch to e-Office system. It is a workflow based product for enabling an end-to-end electronic file movement across the government. It will bring transparency in the system and

improve efficiency in working.
It will also enable to search and view file from any point, place and time. Files can be retrieved anytime and alerts on urgent files can be obtained where action is required.
TSMDC has also implemented ‘Office 365’ for their 8th board of directors meeting held under the chairmanship of Subhash Reddy. Principal secretary industries and commerce Arvind Kumar, secretary finance Navin Mittal, VC and MD of TSMDC Susheel Kumar attended the first online board meeting of the corporation.
