Nizamabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) authorities reopened the Bheemgal depot on Sunday. On this occasion, TSRTC chairman Bajireddy Govardhan and minister for roads and buildings V. Prashanth Reddy flagged off the Armoor bus service. The seventh depot in the Nizamabad TSRTC zone is Bheemgal. Due to losses, the facility was decommissioned in 2006.
For the convenience of passengers, Armoor depot buses operated from the Bheemgal region. Currently, officials have allocated 22 buses to the Bheemgal depot and employed a few mechanics. As a satellite
depot, Bheemgal will report to the Armoor depot manager. New buses will be assigned to the Bheemgal depot based on performance.
TSRTC chairman Bajireddy Govardhan stated on the occasion that more buses, including the Tirupati service, will be introduced from Bheemgal soon. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao enhanced RTC performance and inducted 43000 new personnel into the state administration. Vinod Kumar, executive director of TSRTC, and Johny Reddy, regional manager of Nizamabad, were among those present.
